In this article I want to explain two different ways to solve difficult situations on slopes. The first one, the classic style is already used since a long time. The second one, the new style was
developed by one of the recognized PGA's of Europe and is only a couple of years old.
Choose yourself which way suits you better.
You also have to set up your shoulders parallel to the ground (same as uphill lie), taking care that your weight is more on the left foot. The backswing should be steep following the slope up and
the downswing should be steep down to the ball following the slope. Also here the loft of the club will change so consider to take instead of a 4 iron only a 6 iron.
The trajectory of the ball flight will be lower and there will be more run on the ball as well.
Points as shoulders, club decision are the same as at the classic style. At the new style you can take your right foot slightly back in your stance to have more space to swing through the ball.
The trajectory of the ball flight will be lower and so there will be more run on the ball as well.
