In this article I want to explain two different ways to solve difficult situations on slopes. The first one, the classic style is already used since a long time. The second one, the new style was developed by one of the recognized PGA's of Europe and is only a couple of years old.
Choose yourself which way suits you better and don't forget to practice them if they should work under pressure.
Classic Style:
At this position you have to stand more upright and further away from the ball. So your swing plane will get flater and you will swing more around your body. That mostly turns the ball flight into a hook, so calculate this and either aim more to the right of the target or open your club face.
Modern Style:
Also stand a bit more upright, same as at the classic style but flare your feet a bit outwards. That also gives you more distance to the ball and more stability through your swing.
